As well as specialist covers, we give you expert advice and support, including health and safety guidance and helplines including legal advice and PR crisis assistance.

Risk management for the heritage sector

We work with organisations like The Heritage Alliance and Historic England to understand risks in the sector and find solutions to some of the issues our customers face, like offering health and safety solutions which are not detrimental to the building’s original features.

For risk advice, you’ll have access to our risk advice line and we’ve also developed a Preferred Supplier Network with leading market specialists to help you avoid or mitigate any risks to which you feel you may be exposed.

Specialist building valuations

We work hard to help you protect the characteristics that make your building unique and provide a buildings valuation at no additional cost2. We can link that value to the Ecclesiastical Heritage Index, a specialist building index which tracks the costs of building materials and specialist skills that are often unique to heritage buildings.

Award-winning claims expertise

If you need to make a claim, our award-winning claims team3 can access specialist craftspeople to restore and repair your property to the same standards with authenticity and professionalism. You can be confident we will be ready to resolve claims as quickly and as fairly as we can.

Nobody ever wants to be flooded, but on the evidence of this episode the best thing that can happen to you if you are to be flooded is to be insured by Ecclesiastical.
