Ecclesiastical was founded in 1887 by Churchmen, largely to protect churches from the consequences of fire.

Today we don’t just insure churches. We also specialise in providing solutions for the charity sector, education sector (from nurseries to universities), heritage sector and risks within the care sector alongside a range of other general commercial risks.

Outside of these sectors we also have special insurance products for property owners, motorfleet, small business, financial advice and investment services. We're committed to bringing you quality products and services with the highest possible standards.
